VIANDUSTRIAE è una associazione no-profit che sin dalla sua fondazione nel 2005 promuove progetti specifici di arte contemporanea in cui è primaria è l’istanza socio-culturale. Parte integrante dei programmi è la sezione editoriale, le pubblicazioni di vari formati che non seguono gli standard di una editoria canonica ma piuttosto le necessità e le specifiche di percorso, la verifica e l’accertamento in corso dell’azione culturale. Si tratta di una ricerca propedeutica e propellente la prassi creativa in cui il libro è l’archivio-laboratorio, l’intervento stimolatore, una forma artistica tradotta, la pubblicazione esperimento. Il catalogo generale raccoglie anche le sezioni dedicate alle archiviazioni bibliografiche tra cui emergono le pubblicazioni su tutti i libri d’artista di Sol LeWitt, le pubblicazioni di John Cage, la raccolta di libri da “amateur”di Richard Prince, l’antologia delle edizioni di Maurizio Nannucci, la recente l’operazione ricerca/mostra/libro sulla free press alternativa europea ed americana “Yes Yes Yes, alternative press, 66/77 from Provo to Punk”, che ha portato alla pubblicazione di un corposo volume che raccoglie più di 500 riviste della scena anni ’60/’70.

VIANDUSTRIAE is a non-profit association that, since its foundation in 2005, promotes specific projects of contemporary art in which the socio-cultural instance is fundamental.
An integral part of the programs is the editorial section, publications of various formats that do not follow the standards of a canonical publishing but rather the needs and specifications of every project and process, the verification and assessment in progress of every cultural action. It is a preliminary and propelling research of creative practice in which the book is the archive-laboratory, a stimulating intervention, a translated artistic form, a publication experiment. The general catalog also contains the sections dedicated to bibliographic archiving, among which emerge the publications on all Sol LeWitt artist’s books, the publications of John Cage, the collection of books by “amateur” by Richard Prince, the anthology of editions by Maurizio Nannucci, the recent research / exhibition / book operation on the free and alternative European and American press “Yes Yes Yes, alternative press, 66/77 from Provo to Punk”, which led to the publication of a full-bodied volume that collects more of 500 magazines of the ’60s /’ 70s scene.
